The Power and power of the Supermarkets

Once upon a time people went to friendly small shops and purchased what they needed with no external pressure from advertising and piled high 'two for one' offers. Buy one throw one away?

We have now entered the age of pressure shopping when a shopping list seems to double once you enter the Supermarket.
How many people try a new product each visit to the Supermarket and then never purchase another one?

I know that this is the customers choice at the end but we have been programmed by the Giants to watch adverts and fall for so called 'bargains'.

If we stopped to think about the way the Supermarkets work when they want a new store it might make us think that what we see in the store is not the true story.

Are they taking over the world as a replacement to Communism or are there very dark forces at work behind the scenes which will eventually rule the world by instructing us as to what we can eat and buy.

Still I suppose we do get new short roads, roundabouts and Totem poles.

Can it all be bad?
